Happy New Year! We are grateful for what God allowed our men to accomplish last year, in spite of the challenges. Even through the lockdown in Peru (which was unlike anything we experienced here in the US), our church starters continued to work, sometimes even harder than before. Between food distribution, the new contacts that followed, online services (some broadcasting from a roof, to this day!), checking up on people without internet access, and construction projects, we never cease to be amazed at how the Lord uses circumstances and people willing to say “Here am I!” Even if you are familiar with our church starters, take a few moments to read their testimonies by clicking on their names in the Church Starters dropdown under Mission. We are grateful for the time you’ve spent reading our newsletter, praying, and your offerings. We pray this new website will be a great resource as you look for opportunities to support global missions.
We are off to a solid start this year with three men in support cycles and plans to add a fourth later this year. Our director, Andy Counterman, is filling his schedule with meetings to present BEME-LA. Please contact us if you would like more information about scheduling a presentation at your church.

Sweet Fellowship
Douglas Serrudo (Quellouno Baptist Church) shared a photo (right) of this past Sunday’s service. The gathering was even more uplifting with the presence of new believers.
Juan Huillca (Gracia y Fe Baptist Church) reported that they have also resumed in-person meetings.
Roca Fuerte Baptist Church (Alcides Pena) was running out of space in the new building, so the team put up a tent with almost double the capacity. Praise the Lord, that even with two services, there is not a lot of extra space. In the meantime, the new building will be used for children’s classrooms. As the Lord allows, construction on the property will continue next year with a bigger building on the way.
