The Baptist Church of Quellouno, led by BEME-LA supported church starter Douglas Serrudo, celebrated 3 years of service on July 18. Pastor Douglas has been a part of BEME-LA since March 2019. His support cycle (which includes a 6-month COVID extension) ends next month. When we first met Douglas, he was already working with a group of believers and had just started a children’s ministry. Now, there are several other ongoing outreach ministries, such as a ladies Bible study, radio program, and food distribution. Recently, the church purchased a plot of land and will be building soon, Lord-willing.

All three years of Douglas’ ministry in Quellouno are marked by an intense focus on evangelism and personal sacrifice. We praise the Lord for Douglas and his family!
