We are excited to announce that BEME-LA has taken on another church starter in a new country!

Within Uruguay, there are only about 25 Baptist churches preaching sound doctrine. Of the 19 departments (or first-level subdivisions) of Uruguay, only 8 have a Baptist church. After praying for God’s direction, Gustavo González and his family were led to move to Artigas, where they met a group of believers who have been praying for a leader to help them start a church. Another exciting component of branching out into Uruguay is the partnership with advisors
Archie Perez and Jonathan Rehfeldt who teach at the Seminario Bautista de Colonia. We
pray and expect God to use BEME-LA to support more Uruguayan church starters in the
future.
